Short profile

After graduating, I began my work experience performing various tasks within technical departments of companies involved in industrial plant design, particularly in the area of bulk solids handling. In the early years I often worked on site (in Italy and abroad), supervising the installation and startup of plants. I spent more than two years in Germany, where I was able to greatly improve my knowledge of the German language, which I had already studied in high school. While still dealing with technical aspects, I have gained more management responsibility over the years. As a project manager (Coperion S.r.l.), in addition to managing a project team, I was in charge of customer relations and was responsible for keeping time and costs within the margins of the job. As head of the engineering department, I contributed greatly to the growth of the company: from 35 to 85 employees in just a few years, most of them within the engineering department, while also handling technical alignment meetings with the parent company and succeeding in getting the local unit to become a center of expertise within the group. I subsequently held the position of General Manager with power of attorney as "Employer" under Legislative Decree 81/2008 (occupational safety). I had a brief experience in the automatic machine industry (B.L. S.r.l.), where I was in charge of the sales department (as well as deputy General Manager). I was directly and often successfully involved in negotiations with major customers. I also helped the company with ISO 9001 certification. after that I took the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) of two companies in the Piovan group, the first (Penta S.r.l., in the province of Ferrara) deals with facilities for handling solid materials in bulk form in food and plastics industries, and the second (Fea S.r.l. in the province of Cuneo) deals with the handling of viscous liquids (creams, chocolates) in food industry. For Penta, I had also the interim position of ISO 9001 quality manager. I am currently Chief Operating Officer at a metalworking and manufacturing company serving the chemical and pharmaceutical industries
